Roller Derby saved me from:  spending lots of money on therapy.
Any gear you can't live without? Oooh.  I just got a Bern Hardhat (helmet).  It rocks my world.
Inspiration behind your derby name: My brother named me.  He names all of the pets in our family.  Now he names rollergirls, too.
