Why derby? It’s been my lifelong dream to be a hockey goon. This was a sound alternative.
Inspiration behind your derby name: My Grandma had a stroke and could barely see or walk for the last 20 years of her life, but was always happy. She gave me my lucky penny... being lucky is being happy for what you've got.
Biggest surprise in derby: My awesome teammates.
Roller Derby saved me from: joining a street gang and from having too much free time.
Hardest hit complements of: Sticki Vicki, in a demo for TV. That damn bruise lasted a month.
Injuries? a concussion (but I was playing basketball).
Fave Fans: Penny Pincher, my buddies Non Cents and Pocket Change, and my good friend, Little Flame.
