Wish me the hardest hits, 'cause in derby there is no luck!

Away from Derby: my friends and family call me Rebecca, Becca, and
Becky. I grew up in Tulare, then moved to Bakersfield when I was 15. I graduated from Arvin High (go Bears!). After high school I joined a correctional officer academy through Taft College, then earned my AA in Correctional Administration and Criminal Justice from Bakersfield College. I am getting ready to attend Cal State Bakersfield where I will earn my BA in Criminal Justice. I would like to become a probation officer for juveniles. For now, I am Howcool.com's general manager.

My ideal weekend: is getting to sleep in a little. I really enjoy
chilling most of the day. Maybe have some friends or family come over
and hang out. Have a BBQ or something.

My derby experience: I never really grew up skating. I worked with a couple of females who kept asking if I would join. I finally took them up on the offer and now I'm enjoying it the most of all my hobbies. I still have much to learn about the sport, and my skates. I've been hit the hardest by one of my own team mates, Sticki Vicki, during practice. I quickly learned to protect my hands!

More about me: I'm a really laid back person who enjoys socializing and being around people. I guess you can call me the funny one! I don't carry a good luck charm, I believe in hard work and practice. They have never failed me.
